Archive: Alisyn's Boudoir Session at The Barn Loft Studio in Middletown, Maryland
2021 is here and I have so many photo sets to share from 2020. This past year has been one hell of a year, for many, and I still am feeling the effects. Bare with me as I share slowly, but steadily, my past year of photo memories.
One session I am eager to share with you all is a boudoir session I had back in October. Alisyn, also a graduate from Middletown High School, booked me for a fall boudoir session at The Barn Loft Studio. Though we didn’t know each other in high school, it was nice to talk to a local and reminisce on the old days before her session began.
Alisyn was a gem to work with. Guiding her through poses felt effortless, as though she was a natural. We kept the studio in it’s basic white form, adding in subtle color with the maroon love-seat and a side table with a vase and bouquet.
Days in October are shorter and cooler but we were lucky to have a semi-cool day and an early session. The Barn Loft Studio offers natural light so it’s important to book a session before the sun sets too low in the sky. Aside from the sun setting on us slowly, I was able to capture a beautiful set of images of Aliysn. Her photos are moody, sexy, elegant, and down to earth.
