Archive: Modern Renaissance Fine Art Boudoir with Halle Victoria
Before Valentine’s Day, Halle and I got together and created magic within my mother’s empty spare bedroom (The Barn Loft Studio is much too cold right now; Maryland got so much snow recently!)
We got together because I wanted to create art, not just another boudoir photograph. I have been inspired by many artists for a long time such as Ellen Rogers, but more recently, A.J Hamilton (@thetogfather). Both artists, I believe, are inspired by classical art and timeless moments. With this inspiration in mind, I wanted to do the same. Halle had a vision board filled with 1940’s b&w boudoir images and I had a vision board of Renaissance paintings of women and sun-kissed goddesses. We photographed around 2/3 pm and used natural light, which spilled from a single-window, and 2 large white reflectors. The scene was styled by myself using props from The Barn Loft Studio and Halle’s awesome collection.
