Archive: An Elegant and Tasteful Maternity Session with Kim in Frederick County, Maryland
Kim is a beautiful mama of 2, almost 3, boys. She is local and booked a maternity session with me a few days after Valentine’s Day (and the snow storms). However, because all the snow had not melted yet, we photographed her session in my back-up room (located on the top floor of my mother’s home; neighbor to The Barn Loft Studio). The room was perfect; heated, naturally lit, and full of grey empty walls. Kim desired natural, simple, and elegant images for her maternity session. With color, she also wanted heavy black and white images of her baby bump. These images were simple to do with just one window and natural, reflected light.
