If you are planning a wedding, event, or photography session then you probably need a florist- a really awesome florist at that. A flower arrangement should be a piece of art, show quality and effort, and be memorable. As a photographer, I want to photograph floral arrangements that stand out on their own but still compliment my subject. One florist I had the pleasure of collaborating with, and who highly met my expectations, was Steelcut Flower Co. ,located in Baltimore, Maryland. Steelcut is unique, women-owned and operated, and they have been growing heavily since 2014.

When I was living outside of Washington, D.C, I photographed a collaborative bridal portrait session with model, Dominque Doucette, and florist, Steelcut Flower Co. As an artist, I love to create with other like minded artists- artists who value their work and put real effort into their practice-and Steelcut and Dominique were a perfect team to collaborate with. Steelcut Flower Co. created a perfect, unique bouquet based off both of our visions for the photoshoot. I couldn’t have asked for a better flower arrangement. It stood out on its own, added just enough color and texture to the studio set up, and complimented Dominque exceptionally well. I am forever grateful to have collaborated with Steelcut Flower Co. I highly, highly, highly recommend Steelcut Flower Co. to anyone in search of a local florist in Baltimore, Maryland and surrounding areas.
